What year? My 2016 ST2 headlamps are adaptive - I think all the HIDs in '15+ are (maybe further back as well, unsure).I didn't find any info in the topics, so i open this argument:

15+ gets those lamps too. I actually want to find out what type of bulb they are so that I can get LED replacements from Diode Dynamics2014 st3 here. Mine has cornering lamps that come on when you steer, but the actual xenon projector does not move.
PSX24W I believe. I've read that LED's don't project well with the reflectors though and you end up with a light pattern similar to running HID's without a proper housing, but YMMV. Bummer since it would be really nice to be able to color match all the front lighting.15+ gets those lamps too. I don't know if you know this but the adaptive headlights travel at different rates depending on the direction being turned. If you are turning right, the right head lamp is going to move a lot further than the left and vice verse. I think they move at the same speed but I think the turning side moves like 30% and the non turning side moves that 10%Can confirm on the 2016 St3. In fact those adaptive steering headlights were the root cause of some minor erratic slow speed driving through my neighborhood - just for fun. At slow speeds (15-25 mph), when you turn the wheel the headlight movement is very noticeable. They'll both move in the direction you turn the wheel, and then when you center the wheel they both comeback - but they come back at slightly different rates, as if one is lazy. Was enjoyable to watch them center and meet in the middle at slightly different times.
In fact I didn't realize the car had adaptive headlights until I noticed this lazy return to center behavior. At highway speeds the behavior is barely perceptible. Hence the erratic driving in my neighborhood when I first noticed the movement.
I cannot confirm the previous posters note that it only works on Auto - I don't think I ever had my lights on a manual -on setting.
This is definitely a cool feature, and the headlights were one of my favorite things about the looks and function of the 2016 ST3
I did not know this, however it makes perfect sense and explains the laziness I noticed as the re-center themselves. Those engineery type folks are smart aren't they?I don't know if you know this but the adaptive headlights travel at different rates depending on the direction being turned. This prompted me to check the window sticker from my vehicle. It says:We don't have adaptive headlamps with the Xenons. The projectors do not move. We have a halogen lamp aimed to the side that turns on with the signals and low speed turns of the wheel off center. The side lamp reflectors are integrated with the headlamp assembly.
