so we have had a few cars come into the shop that have had the dreaded synchro problems. The MZR has issues with its shift forks and we have successfully resolved that by upgrading the pad material to brass. We are currently working on getting a solution for you guys on this problem as well!!!

Please post up if you are suffering from these issues and if you have any picts of your own. We have seen a few threads on here about it but are looking to collect as much data as possible.

It's from granny shifting and not double clutching like you should

i have issues getting into certain gears at certain times... so im sure i dont have long before syncros are prob shot to ****.

sad that they put such junk synchros in these trans.

This is great news. I dont have any pictures of damaged synchros as I got mine replaced under warranty...but its nice to know that if it happens to me again I have options that dont involve swapping the entire trans

No synchro pics but when I pulled my lsd...

This was all on the magnet in the trans. gear teeth from something and LOTS of metal shards.
I lost third and fourth gear on two transmissions in a week third one has been fine.

Thats my trans actually, and nope, just 362 whtrq, BSd, LSD, and LWFW with my "spirited" commute. No drag, no track. Blew 3rd and 4th synchros. 4th was uneventful. Third was all me, lol.

I would love better transmission internals so I can rebuild and throw an lsd in.
