I would like to hear that too having just put on my Flowmaster exhaust..

Has anyone put it on the dyno after installation to see what kind of gains this system gets? Also, What would be the best DP for this system? Can a 3in DP fit with the 2.25''?

That was a great read! I used the Flowmaster install for my flowmaster install and it went smooth!

Can anyone tell me how high above the middle bracket closest to the Flowmaster Caddy should the exhaust pipe be? Looking in your photo's it appears its a couple inches above when mine is like maybe 3-4 cm tops... Did I do something wrong? maybe its hanging lower than it should?

You have to push up on the pipes as you tighten the clamps. I have prob a good 1.5 to 2 inches of clearance on mine. Here are 2 pics I just took looking from the muffler to the back of the car.

Oh yikes! I need to get it back up on the ramps! Thanks for the pictures. It seemed close when I installed it the other day.. Is it bad to loosen the exhaust clamps and fix it?

I would just loosen them all up and start from the front and work your way to the back. You should be able to leave it bolted to the dp.

Can anyone tell me which flowmaster muffler it is? Ex: 40 series or whatever. I love the sound but I can't afford the cat back and I could possibly run a larger size anyway.

It doesn't have anything stamped on it. Its small and not chambered so might be one they only use for catbacks.

That's what I was afraid of. I thought about trying a super 10 to see how close that would be since it seems to be about the same size. That single chamber and a full 3in. with a catless downpipe would sound pretty nice.

Mine passed PA inspection. However the next year it failed because of the high flow catted COBB downpipe. I had to put the stock downpipe back on to pass and then swap it again.

I noticed that appears as if low end torque is actually decreased after upgrasing the exhaust. I would have thought that a 2.25 exhausr would have helped low end, giving better in-city gas mileage. How is this not so? If urban gas mileage is my goal, should I go with a 2.5?
