If I were to replace the front and rear body parts on my 14 ST3 to those from a 15, would the headlights need anything special done to them? Also, I'm assuming best way to go about this is looking for salvage vehicles as donors.. thoughts?

The lights are different, so you'd need that too

Totally, but if I swapped HID for HID, are they plug and play?

Nose is easy hood, lights and bumper, rear is not possible without replacing crucial sheet metal

Are you saying you need more than a rear bumper, tail lights and rear hatch? Or is the rear hatch the "crucial sheet metal"? From what I know the body is the same, and the difference lies with just those parts I listed. I believe it will be "easy" to do, as long as the hatch is able to be acquired at a "reasonable" price.

The pocket where the light mount (inner body) is different, we were going to do a swap, and found that different, so not really possible without a lot of work

Damn, I thought they kept the same area, and just made the light smaller...well that sucks.

That really surprises me. I figured just from a cost point of view they'd keep as many panels the same as possible.

Damn that really sucks. There's enough wrecked focuses on CL here that it'd be pretty cheap to do a body swap. I'm thinking in wrapping the whole car too, so the paint wouldn't even have to match.
