IDS will not fix the checksums for you on a modified data or program segment change. That will be the biggest challenge in re-using IDS as your flashing tool.

The shift indicator arrow is controlled by the ECU through a series of tables. The "feature" that is being configured through CCF data for the IPC is to allow flashing of this indicator to occur. The FRPP tune, along with our calibrations have modifications to these ECU tables to move the RPM/torque requirements for the signal to be sent to the IPC for display.

The problem i think you are having is the secondary bootloader is part of the .vbf file. you need the specific .vbf for your vehicle - which are not included in the software package he has now. The IDS automatically loads that file for you when doing the programming through it
Yep, I downloaded the correct secondary bootloader, pcm and bcm vbf files and added them to the focccus app tonight. I also played with the as built editor. If load my as built from ETIS, edit this file for camera and global close and export as a new as-built. Then using Focccus, write the new as built to the BCM will this procedure work? I also that the software has the ability upload new calibration .vbf files. Has anyone tried this?

Hang tight guys. Im working with the dev to get the CM5T ICP added
The cm5t ipc vbf can already be downloaded direct from the motor craft website.

I just saw the inputs in another thread and none look like standard av inputs, is there a specific cam you need?
Supposedly the wiring harness does not have the pinout for the camera but it does have an empty spot for adding one. Not exactly sure on that though. The MFT link in the 1st post my have more info about this.

So I got in my car this morning and my cel was on. I loaded up Torque pro and read the code. P2610 M/PCM internal engine off timer performance. Last night I simply read the different modules and performed no write functions. Car started and ran fine as far as I could tell. I erased the cel and drove to work. No probs. BUT... apparently even after the cel erase the car still hold cel codes for a period of time till it deems itself repaired.

Yes, even reading will throw a bunch of codes. Using ForScan you can clear them all. There are 2 different types of code, CEL DTC and non CEL DTC. Clearing the CEL codes does not mean it clears the DTC. Clearing the DTC will clear everything if that makes sense.

Im gonna show you now how to get it yourself. First go to your ST, press and hold the ok button then start your car. Do not release the ok button until the car goes into test mode. Now press the arrow down arrow until you see this screen:
Image

Take the entire code with dashes and go here: http://www.motorcraftservice.com/vdirs/wds/PCMReprogram/DSFM_PCMReprogram.asp?swproduct=IDS

At bottom of page click in box below calibration files header and type the number you have with dashes. Hit download. The ipc file will be found and downloaded. Unzip the file and only the vbf will be inside. Copy the file to the vbf folder inside Focccus. If one is already there then overwrite that one. Done. 2 minutes tops.

Do we possibly have the option of updating the IPC to the newest firmware?

The option to do it is built into the FOCCCUS program here:

DO NOT attempt a file upload until you are sure of your IPC hardware part number and software version. Small revisions in hardware will have different software part numbers. I see in the changelog that he added the feature in version .5 but it doesnt say tested so if you want to be "That" guy then have it.

The only thing that does say tested is the PCM and ACM. I will be going through the TSB list this weekend and testing my own updates this weekend.
