Remote start is for cars that have remote start units aka not any car with a manual transmissions.

If I were to buy/retrofit, H1 HID's in the low beam part.. I know they usually give a warning without the resistors and such and shut off. But if I was to change from "Halogen" to "HID" in the settings of this would I still need the resistor harness?

I would still use a harness, but you would not need resistors, no.

You need to use the alternative HID function by the way.

And turn off the dipped beam error so lines 14 and 17 need changed.

Would anybody that is mechanically capable be interested in adding some mods to my Focus? They will require using FoCCCus to update the BCM. I live in the Detroit area. PM me for more details of what I am interested in. I don't want to clutter up this thread.
There is only 3 or so things that can be done. The camera thing hasnt been worked out yet.

I only have a 2014 SE without Fog Lights. I read elsewhere that this FoCCCus app can re-flash the BCM to enable Fog Lights. I was looking for somebody that can basically recreate what this fellow did.

That is why I asked for a mechanically inclined person who can do the actual foglight swap and is also nuanced with the FoCCCus app.
