The non-ST are the same. I have an SE, no way to disable it.

What year? I drove a IIRC '12 titanium (loaner) and i could disable it on that car.

My '14 does not do the courtesy wipe. I haven't looked for a menu option though.

Anyone tried changing option 214 integrated control panel to see if the courtesy wipe could be shutoff.

Pretty cool utility he's got going. You're conclusion is accurate, the program is using values from a generic "Focus" and likely a C344 instead of C346. Both are supported by the CCF structure, but there are unique differences in the configuration bytes between model years. Your primary interest is CCF block 5 which can be queried with DID F105 (this should return all blocks 1-5). There are 251 unique values for configuration along with 2 padded bytes, and a 1 byte checksum (254 total bytes).

Some positions of interest are bytes 72, 99, 172, and 214.

Hope this helps in some way ;)

Cheers,
-Braden @ COBB
Im interested in building a new table using US Spec options. While this program works exceptionally well, as you have said, there are differences. For instance, byte 11 shows 3 options, not configured , medium (55L), and Gmax (62L). 55L=14.52 US gallons and 62L = 16.37 US gallons and neither of which are on the US Spec ST. Clearly both his as built and BCM scans are for non US based Focus MK3's. My question is how can I use the fairly extensive database that Ive recently started building to build my own tables? I saw another option in the system for READ/WRITE DIDs, There is virtually no googable info when using these search terms. Can you enlighten me as to what this test does?

Also, I saw you mentioned doing a DID F105 Read. I put that info into the Focccus app and it returned an error.

This doesn't mean that by "pulling from BCM" and then "writing to BCM", we potentially changed values from US Spec to Euro Spec, does it? Such as the Gas tank? As long as we don't touch that setting, it retains the original, us setting? It doesn't force the Euro values since it does't have the US?

Beginning to wonder if it was a bad idea to do this so early in development?

A couple questions,

1. Anyone in the metro Detroit area with a laptop and the know how do my windows for me?

2. Any luck or attempts to get sync to work in motion ie not greying out input for gps addresses and such?

3. Video while in motion a possibility?

Thanks guys. I read most of the thread this morning but didn't see an answer to these questions.

So far no sync or video in motion.

I don't think so...some of the as-built data just isn't translating perfectly against a table of options for a Euro spec Focus. When you click the write option it is still your original data being rewritten only slightly different depending on the byte you've modified.

That's what I just realized. And that it isn't changing the values unless YOU change them (e.g. The global windows). At least I assume that's how it is. The fuel tank thing is what worried me at first, going off the pictures on the first post. Since that IS a euro value. But I guess the value is the same for here, just means something different there.

If you made a backup of your bcm your fine if you didn't make a backup. Just download the XML using your vin and your safe either way.

Mine loads to 44% and then gives an unable to load message. Any ideas?

It also caused some nasty fault codes and my CEL to light up. I reset them with Torque and went out to dinner without them coming back.
Each and everytime you read from the BCM or write you are going to throw a ton of dtcs, Forscan is your friend for erasing them...in order to erase all of them you will need access to both busses.
