Ethanol calculator spreadsheet

Hey all,

Decided to throw together an ethanol calculator spreadsheet for the forum. It works with any situation and with work with any car you may ever buy.

Its robust and unlike the apps you can download it is totally free, will never go away, and is actually easy to use (I think so anyway...)

Save it to your phone and use the google sheets app (or the MS excel app) to edit all of the orange quantities, the gold cells are the outputs and the blue cells are intermediate calculations and should be left as they are.

You can also save to your PC and use excel (which is nicer)

Some notes:

if either of the two results are negative it signifies that there is not enough room in your fuel tank to reach your desired ethanol concentration given the current concentration of e85 available to you. In this situation, run the tank lower before filling up.

The spreadsheet is designed to work with the fuel level input monitor available on the cobb AP, I made it this way to discourage people from using the dashboard fuel gauge as it is extremely inaccurate.

You can use this with other cars by changing the fuel tank size. (focus st is 12.4 gallons)

Enjoy!

Thanks for the effort👍

I use this as a backup if the app seems off:
Use the tool below to calculate an ethanol mix!
Usually it's operator input error 😊😁

I mostly use this app:

I refuse to use MS office and most Google stuff on personal devices unless I have to. Libre FTW

Well, when your hip goes out trying to get low enough to enter the vehicle, my rear quarter/door will indeed suffer damage.
