Hey guys. Got into my car today and when I started it, it ran rough and would barely drive. I got an "engine fault" code and it stated to "service now".

I turned the car off for 15 minutes and back on. The car runs and drives fine now. It stored a code p0106.

I looked that up and found "manifold absolute pressure/barometric pressure circuit range performance problem"

The car has an FSwerks cold air tube and green filter on it. They have been on for 5k miles with no problems. I also googled this and found that there are many people with this issue and that there is a TSB that mentions this code.

Is this common and is there an easy fix before I schedule a dealership visit?

Thanks guys.

My car has thrown that code about 5 times in the 3 years I have owned it. It is always at startup and it always clears after shutting off the engine and restarting 30 seconds later. I thought it was a sensor going bad but, I have not had it do this in the last 6 months so whatever the cause was it seemed to sort itself out.
