I have a question. Well just now I got on it when getting on the highway and snatched 4th then the car turned off saying engine fault. I pulled over and started it then it died. Then waited and started again and now it's perfectly fine. No lights pulls fine and works fine. Drove it 30 miles and it's fine. What do you think it could be? I did multiple pulls before getting on the highway. (1-4th pulls) and I'm not sure what happened. It's stock except for the green filter and straight pipe rmm and a turbo smart box. And it's a 16

Would it be attempting to speed shift into 4th?
haha i was hoping you guys would get what i said, snatching is basicly quick shifting. Just throwing it into gear really fast. And yes i did lift the clutch, i did not no lift it. Its just really weird, it died, pulled over, died on start up, then waited a minute, then started fine, no lights on dash, absolutly nothing weird at all. Shifts fine, engine sounds great, oil is clean as can be, no weird noises. No smoke, pulls healthy. I went down the list of everything and just continued on driving like normal, because if its broke, it would of showed more signs. lspi is probably not the case because I would asume it to have more problems. That was the first thing i was checking for, but it gave me a engine fault light and shut off to save itself. Im thinking it could be a miss shift and it turned itself off to prevent its sudden death. But thats all i can think of.

ashburn va? richmond va here. and its just shifting really fast when your racing, because im like " racecar onto the highway in my eco car with a turbo".
Ashburn, it's the Nexus of Route 28 and Route 7 and all points west. I lived in Hanover for 7 years but moved up for the job. I have yet to race anyone in my car because the 1-2 shift bounces like no manual I've ever driven. The dealer insists that it's normal.

Its normal because it was made for comfort and not to snatch gears thats why i say its a economy car witth a turbo haha, i have the cobb rmm and its great but with ac you get that nice racecar vibration

anyone has an opinion on why this happened?
Were you doing hard pulls all day? How hot was it outside? Could have overheated. The stock FMIC is complete garbage.
