So this might seem pretty stupid to some but I've searched and can't find anything on this.

So one of my preferred gas stations offers e30, e85, 87, 89, and 92. I was in a pinch and needed gas so I stopped and did my normal 3.4 gal of e85 and the 92 instead of 93 (I am running the strattified e85 tune and have used unleaded 92 once). I haven't seen any negative corrections or any knocks in any of the cylinders.

So my question is this. What really is the difference. Seeing e30 at the pump has kinda sparked my interest. And then e85 and mixing it with 93 unleaded. While not knowing much about differences in fuel and what does what other than knowing what gas stations gas gives me the best results from trial and error. Just looking for answers.

e30 premix is usually 87 and e85, from what ive heard.
So would this be an alternative method? Like unsaid I was just curious not saying I'm going out and doing this.
