I have not been able to find a post about this, so here it goes.
Has anyone been running e30 long term? I know @LOLMS3 has been for 60k miles or so I think. Anyone else? Has anyone who has been running it had hpfp failures, injector failures or any other issues they believe was related to it?
I would like to run it for the foreseeable future. I know it is pushing higher HP/tq numbers but I feel like with the added octane, it would actually be a safer alternative to straight 93. I know mpg drops a bit while running it and around me it costs the same as premium 93 so it will cost more to run. I will be pro tuned on it as well and not running an ots map.

I've been running E30 for over two years now with no problems. I don't have the mileage of others though. Currently running it with a BT. I'd run a higher mix if needed, but I don't see any/much knock at my power levels with this blend.

Good to hear. What is your mileage and who are you tuned by?

I was self tuned until my big turbo. So around 12k with E30 self tuned. Now I'm Stratified tuned since 16k, and now at 18k.

I haven't run it consistently for 60k miles. I ran it for about 10k total, then my HPFP went out at 98k miles, so I stopped using it.

My e85 stations are so far apart, and for the amount of driving i do (i fill up every other day) it was really becoming a hassle. When i ran e30, i would have to fill up once a day, sometimes twice.. If you don't have a ethanol content monitor, its very easy to get the mixture wrong and end up with e40 or e20 in the tank..

And with the ST having so many issues with the fuel system to begin with (like the needle not showing true amount of fuel, bent fuel tanks, clogged injectors etc. etc.) its just not worth it for me to run it consistently.

He does not have the MPG like we do, yet he leaves us hanging not telling us his MPG's!
I have a need to know what your MPG's are now.
Lets hope he comes through.

No issues so far. Over a year on FBO and Custom FreekTune E30. I drive 120 miles a day eastern Pa into central NJ. The route(78 and 287) is notoriously for high speeds and aggressive drivers. I do 80 mph in the morning drive at 5:00am and 80-75 mph afternoon. About 40,000 miles on E30 and I get 27 mpg or better. 3.25 gallons E85 and 5.5 of 93 last fill. Oh and I hit 23-24 PSI Boost every day. So I’m in it.
