I've Googled plenty about muffler deletes, center resonator deletes, and aftermarket down pipes. But those all cost varying amounts of $$$. I want a better (louder) exhaust note without handing out a lot of bank notes.

A friend mentioned that he in his previous cars would drill out a hole in the bottom of his muffler. It would create a much louder noise and would be easy to repair with a little welding. Sounds cheap and effective.

So before I break out my power tools, has anyone here done this to their ST? Those who have done the mod, what are your thoughts?

It cost me $56 and about 20 minutes of my time to have a resonator delete done at a muffler shop.

Sent from another potato stuffed in my shorts

It almost always sounds like crap. Like 'My muffler rusted out a decade ago and I am too lazy to replace it" crap.

Not to mention you'll be the next this guy:

Don't be a next that guy.
The guy in that video looked EXACTLY how I thought he would
