I am about to start hunting down all the rattles in this car. It only has 12k miles but rattles from the dash, from the passenger side door and the rear doors. Starting to drive me crazy. Anyone elses car rattle?

6600 miles and the hinge in my door hinge is starting to squeak, I think. I am hoping a little WD will fix it.

2800 miles and my hatch is making me crazy. I ran into this thread looking for instructions to adjust the bump stops. I'm sure I've seen it around here somewhere.

Also don't use WD on your hinges. Use a grease.

204k on my SE and it only had one occasional creak from the dash. 10k on the ST and nothing yet, though I expect with the stiffer suspension it may pick up a couple more than the SE. I hate interior noises and I can hear sounds I shouldn't have been able to hear for ten years. If I do hear something, I fix it, if possible.

I just hit 6k miles and it is starting to rattle pretty badly. However, Denver roads are absolutely awful. They broke the clock spring in my previous Mopar before that car hit 20k miles. I'm fine the ST rattling as long as it doesn't get as bad as a broken clock spring.

6,200 mi here, occasional rattle in headliner, but everything else still tight. And no fitment issues with doors or panels. Happy with the build quality so far. My last Ford was a 1976 Mustang II with 302 V8.......that was one pig of a car with the worst workmanship and lousiest paintjob I ever saw. Took me almost 40 years to get over that trauma before I could buy another American branded car. I reckon you youngsters have no concept of how lousy the American car was after the Japanese cleaned their clocks starting in the 70's.

2013 here with 25k~ miles. No rattles other than an occasional loose item in my door pocket like a pen, change, or an empty plastic water bottle.

I've also never had the interior panels taken off for anything (like for window tinting, cable runs, or new speakers), but I wouldn't be surprised if that would contribute to rattling. Panel fastening clips get loose each time they're pried off. I could be completely wrong, though.

That's often the A-pillar end of the retention link.

Open the door the whole way and remove a round rubber grommet on the A pillar, just below the top hinge. In the hole will be a Torx bolt; you'll find you can tighten it some and the creak will go away.

YMMV!

Hope that helps,
Mark

I figured out how to adjust the bump stops on the hatch and it got rid of all the clunking in the rear. Now I can hear all the other plastic creaking that I couldn't hear over the clunking.

The smallest noises have always annoyed me to the point of hunting them all down. 2016 ST3 and the only things I've noticed that drive me crazy is the door hinge creaking and the pulley closest to the passenger side wheel well that sounds like my brake is always rubbing.
