That's how credit works...lol that has almost nothing at all to do with the company's personal decisions. Don't call them ridiculous when this is basic credit card sense. I applied and put that I was going to spend 800 on a new set of supersports (came out to 809 OTD) and got approved for $1500 because I have good credit. Applying for a card hits your credit and sometimes asking for credit increases hits your credit negatively. All of these things make you less likely to get approved for a high limit, so don't be surprised that it was low.

Agreed. Customer service is great and the customer service actually broke down and explained to me in detail how the card promotional 0% apr works and stuff no fine print. They will work with you on pricing and help you however you need help.
If they approved you for lesser amount then there's a reason underlying in your credit report I'm willing to bet. If you have like 10 credit inquiries in the last year or something then they could be suspecting you of being desperate and not give you as much. It's hard to tell, but it isn't any different than any other company I've ever dealt with.

Agree, that's what I use. I check it regularly since it updates every 7 days. They also make recommendations that help a TON. Or they can explain why xxx happened or why yyy didn't happen. Really nice tool. And it's FREE!

definitely! my better half fixed her credit after fraud and identity theft using creditkarma, now shes got a higher score than me its a HUGE tool and would be worth a nominal fee but its free. They also have recommended credit cards that she used when looking for a card that has special rates as incentives. great site!
