I know everyone is different but what the hell is this thing? Shifter for weekend semi truck drivers?

I thought the same thing...until I used on the track. Moves the Shifter up and is amazing with the right knob. It's a precision tool!

I have the boomba short throw shifter kit. Would this work directly with it? and how does this feel as far as the throws itself? I am assuming more leverage equals less effort?

this is moreso to keep shifts closer to the steering wheel for track racing eliminating uneccesary time/movement in shifts. you might feel more ease in shifts though.
