Has anyone cut out the lower front grill on their 13-14 focus st? I saw this fiesta do it and it looks great. I was wondering if anyone has pictures of it done to a focus st 13-14.

I wish his intercooler the best of luck... hopefully he doesn't drive his car in traffic during the winter.

I don't care for the look and it isn't practical at all.

You can remove the lower grille...there are still some tabs that in theory keep the bottom of the bumper from flapping. There are some who have cut these, but I haven't seen anyone cut the actual bottom of the bumper out

Cut the vertical bars... looks way better. I might have been one of the first to do it on my 15 and I know a lot of people have done so as well with 0 issues. #1 thing I ask is how I got my lower bumper to look that way mine does.

24,500 miles later and no problems, have 34,500 on my car but I did my intercooler and modded the bumper at 10k

Only disadvantage to removing the lower section I see is no protection for the IC from road debris. That looks good without compromising all the protection of the IC. A nice custom screen insert would be a nice addition to add IC protection.

Look up the MK3.5 lower grill on the zunsport site! Gunna do this once I cut my 3 vertical pieces so there's some protection!!

Sorry I realize that post was over a year ago but I just found this lower grill piece today and am stoked about it!
