IM BACK GENTS! Lol

Figured I'd start my build thread post of the progress with the st!

After a month or so of collecting the parts from my grocery list series and getting some of them paint matched with the wheels I'm going with. I just need tires for the wheels and to just install everything! really looking forward to how she turns out at the end of it!

I do have a question for yall that I can't seem to find on here. I got my AP and tune from stratified, currently 91 tuned. With sending data logs back to get revised. Do I just send them with my name and order history number? I feel like just sending logs seems redundant without any more specific information. I just wanna be accurate without confusion.

Thanks!
Kenzie

I didn't have stratified tune my car so I can't directly answer your question, however, I would think that you would be replying to the email that you received your base tune in. That way they keep the same email thread.

Thats what I was thinking, the crazy part is that email is completely lost and I can't find it anywhere. I was going through trying to find it one day so I can upload my tunes to the ap, had to send another email off to get them to resend the tunes. Did a search and everything. Could not find the original email that was sent to me.

Yes, you reply to the email they sent you, keep it all in that thread so they know who you are and know what your order is.

Also there is a time limit on it, other members have fun into issues where they waited too long to send logs and then were not able to get their car tuned.

Yeah, that's for sure what happened to me, kind of a joke imo. What's the reasoning behind that?! I'll just call them and ask what will be best for my situation.

their tune prices changes every now and then so it's understandable to have a time limit.
I can see that. I did call them up today and ask to start an email thread with me so I can send them logs. Never got one. I do have an archived email that I have found that I hope works out for me! Lol

Driving the car today and p0420, p2135 showed up. Car ran like ****, stopped and restarted. Codes went away. Read that a defouler comes in handy for the p0420 code. Popular one to go with is a vibrant j style piece. Found some people that carry them but REAL skeptical as I don't know the company's. Anyone got a recommendation for a website that I can buy one from?

getting closer to finishing up the car and ran into this problem with the vacuum line that was for the bov. Been trying to come up with some ideas to seal it off. Anyone got an idea that is tried n true for making sure no gunk gets up in it?!

I found a little plastic plug that fit and I RTVed it in. I wanted to retain all factory connections on the car, for whatever reason

After a couple of weekends, I finally got everything installed! The cold side pipe install is no joke!!! Figuring out how to tighten down the bolts and nuts on the IC is no fun either lol. Drove it around a bit and I gotta say, I love the vibration with the rmm and it pulls way better! Looking forward to next summer with the wheels and tires put on to put the finishing touches on matching the piping!

ATP Turbo GTX2867R Gen2 Bolt-On Turbo Kit Ford Focus ST 2013-2017 (edgeautosport.com)
Hey guys, so im getting with michael on a junits elbow for a IWG turbo set up! My dilemma right now is that im not a HUGE fan on the chrome look of the housing for the turbo on edges website and like the matte finish of the other turbo on turbokits. I was thinking if i went ahead and bought the turbokits turbo i could just piece everything together that comes with the kit from edge. Thoughts and opinions?

@CrazyKenz that's just a stock photo. You have to pay extra for the polished finish. So it will show up as-cast finish.

edit: both links are for the exact same turbo

Always can count on you big dawg! I posted both for the finishes and also because one is labeled as a kit with really nothing extra I noticed more over the other website. Maybe a sale being ran for sure with the price difference. Sorry for being a little much. I run this kinda stuff in my head too much so I can avoid having to make extra trips and steps to return items lol.

It comes with a little more than what's in the pic on both sites. Hardware kit, some couplers, an aluminum union, copper crush washers.

This is black Friday weekend so if you're going to buy, make sure you do it now!

Also double check and make sure you get the .64 a/r in your cart before you click "purchase".
