I am in the process of putting bc racing coilovers on two focus sts. One is done (we think) the other (mine) has the front done and looking to do the rear asap. My question is to anyone with Bc coilovers.. how did you install the rear? It just has me very confused and im trying to figure it out. Help would be greatly appreciated!

That video sucks.

1. Jack the rear up and put on jack stands.
2. Put your jack under one of the swing arms and apply just enough pressure to take out the shock bolt and rear swing arm bolt.
3. Lower the jack slowly and pull the spring out.
4. Unscrew the two bolts holding the upper shock out.

Put the new shock in and spring in, adjusting height of both as desired. You can preload the spring 3-5 mm by using the jack to compress, then screwing the shock body in to make it shorter. Put bolts back in. If you remove rear sway bar bolts, don't reattach the rear sway until you've done both sides.
