Any links ? I also need to know the size, itshape an 18×8 ... but what offset? I'm looking to buy the CHEAPEST rims that will fit slicks.

These are the Konig wheels I use and they are readily available at America's Tire/Discount Tire

I think they were $268 mounted and balanced.

That is about as cheap as you'll get at 17x8

I know almost nothing about running slicks. Do the directional arrows not matter much?
Yes they do if you want them to wear evenly and not do weird things in terms of handling. Easy to remember one side on the left and one side on the right. The tire guy mounted one of my slicks backwards so one even on the opposite side faced the wrong direction.

I ran it like that just once because I didn't notice it until later that day.

You can use any 17x8 wheel that comes in the correct offset and bolt pattern. At $110 each I didn't complain and they look close enough to stock that people don't notice much of the time.
