Last week I went to run Forscan and it said my batt voltage was too low. 11.3v I think. I thought this was weird because it's a new car with only 5k on it. Anyways I take it for a ride to charge it up. I selected batt voltage on my AP and it was showing as high as 15.3v driving down the road. It's been running between 15.0 and 15.3 most of the time over the last week. I put a DVM on it today and read 14.95v on the batt terminal right after the first start of the day. So is this a normal voltage reading on this car? I don't remember any other car I've owned being higher than 14.6 or 14.8v coming from the alternator. But I don't have a shop manual for this car to check into this. Another little side thing is that my stereo amp intermittently goes into protect mode and I'm wondering if it's from this alt output being too high.
