If you've been following us on our Facebook Group, you'll know that CFM Performance has been working on an intake for the 2013-16 Focus ST.

I'm glad to announce that the intakes are ready, on the site and ready to ship! Our intake is a 2 part modular system, which can either be used separately or together

The first part of the CFM Performance intake system is the 3" Intake Tube. Retail is $179.95, intro price is $169.95

It can be used with the factory accordion intake tube or with our 3" smooth max flow intake silicone elbow. The 3" CFM Performance intake tube is mandrel bent aluminum, unlike some of our competitors who utilize steel and increase weight versus the stock plastic tube. We have also incorporated the factory emissions tube connection for easy OEM like fitment. With the abuse present in most engine compartments we decided to finish the intake tubes in your choice of black, red, or blue wrinkle finishes.

The second component is the 3" Silicone Elbow, retail $59.95, intro price $52.95

In conjunction with the 2013-2016 CFM Performance Focus ST 3" intake system we created a smooth Max Flow silicone elbow to replace the factory accordion rubber elbow that the car comes with from the factory. The CFM Performance silicone elbow allows for smoother airflow through the intake system. This elbow is a simple swap and can be used with the CFM Performance 3" intake tube or OEM intake tube. It can also be used on other intake tubes that use the OEM convoluted elbow after the air box, like FSWERKS, Steeda, or MBRP.

Would heat soak be a problem since the intake wraps around the engine, and aluminum is such a fantastic thermal conductor? Although the air would still pass through the IC, but I'm sure any heat soak wouldn't help
