Recently installed mbrp xps 3" exhaust. Love it but want more power and sound. Any recommendations for a catted down pipe? Is it generally bad to mix and match brands? Still fairly new to the aftermarket car scene so I am unsure.

Also since it is catted should I have issue with inspection? I live in mass and they are fairly strict.

How does daily drivability go down with a dp plus accessport? I am looking to put 20k~ miles a year on my st because of work and need reliability. Would this also cause potential issues with my inspection?

If they are fairly strict, it depends if they do a visual check or a sniffer. If they only sniff it, then a high flow cat will SOMETIMES pass. You can get a higher cell count like a 400 or something maybe and have a better chance at passing, but less power and sound gains. If they do a visual check then as long as you have a cat when they look under your car and the sensors are set to ready and no CEL is ignited, then you are passed. I'm not 100% on this since I don't have it, but I went catless and learned up on it in case I move to a place that requires it.

Welcome aboard, this is a topic that is covered quite well. In fact there are already threads in place for your situation specifically.

Please use the google search bar at the bottom of the page before starting a new thread, odds are your answers are already on here.
