Hi everybody. First forum post! I wrapped the plastic trim piece around the shifter in carbon fiber vinyl. I was just curious to see if I would like it as it was my first time wrapping anything. Have to redo it I screwed up on one end but not too noticeable for now! Let me know what you think!

Thanks glad someone else likes it too! I saw you plasti dipped the shiny "metal" pieces red. Were they easy to take off?

It took a bit of time to figure out how they come apart but it wasn't terrible. If u pop the plastic panel off the end of the dash there's a screw underneath that holds the vent in place. Take that out and then there's some clips that hold it in also. You may have to get a small screwdriver or trim tool an pry up on the outside of the vent to see the clips. But be careful with them cause there completely plastic.

Ok thanks I'm gonna try to wrap those silver pieces! And nice carbon fiber wrap looks awesome! Yeah the shift knob is great it came with the car in 2016 I love it and just wanted to match more of the interior to it.

Thanks man! Those door pieces look great wrapped good job! I don't have to wrap those luckily because mines a 2016 ST3 they already come in real carbon fiber. Otherwise I probably would have done those first.

I've done several interior pieces too. The part around the shifter, all the silver plasticky door trim pieces and the air vents. I regret cheaping out on the vinyl as I am having some peel and bubble a little bit now, so eventually I'll go back and re-wrap with higher quality stuff, but I'm happy with it for now.

If you can get the parts from Ford they should be a direct fit. The shift knob, door trim pieces, e-brake, and trim around boost gauges is all real carbon fiber. I don't know if you can get all of that but good luck! This is basically everything stock in one pic.

I hear you. I just want to match some of these carbon fiber pieces and don't want to spend 100's on real carbon fiber trim pieces lol.
