If you pump the clutch repeatedly, will it then go into gear?

have been told to pump clutch before starting and if problem goes then its gear cylinder?
It just simply means you have a hydraulic issue. Whether that's a leak at any of the hydraulic connections, or an internal pressure bypass going on inside the master or slave cylinder

so whats the solution??
You fix whatever is broken.

You're putting the cart before the horse. Pump the clutch and report back if it's easy to shift into 1st afterwards.
