Okay, So I have had this idea for years now but never was in a place money wise to do it (preferred to spend on go fast bits), I want to wrap the roof, center of the hood with the raised section, the part of the roof before the wing and maybe part of the wing, as well as the mirrors.

Now the part that I have a question is, you may have noticed by my sig, but I have a TB ST, and I wanted to do a color wrap on the parts mentioned using 3M 1080 Gloss Flip Electric Wave vinyl. Would this look weird? I don't know if it would look weird, or be a good/unique addition as most people like to black out the roof when they have a car that is a color other than black, and people with black...leave it black.

I can buy a 5 ft. x 10 ft. piece to wrap everything, a squeegee and knife-less tape to install it, So total would be $132.

Also any tips for wrapping the roof? I have never wrapped something that large before, can the plastic rails pop out easily to allow me to get the wrap situated under there?

Well....since no one answered I ordered samples of some vinyl to see in person to decide if it will look like I want. I got some opinions and they think it may look good, but have never really seen it before. If all goes well, I will order it and install in the next month.

st_doll on instagram has a TS with flat black vinyl similar to this. it looks really good. I put stripes on my fenders(TB) with 3m brushed aluminum vinyl and it looks awesome. The brushed titanium i think would have looked better, its just a little bit darker. The contrast would look good and the texture of the vinyl would look amazing on a big body part like that
