Hi guys,

My 2015 ST-2 seems to follow the road abruptly on uneven road and gives sharp turn of the wheel when light acceleration at slow speeds, maybe 5-10 mph (so not torque steer), has anyone one made any changes to wheels alignments or geometry set up that have made the car feel more planted and less likely to track....ie camber or toe in.

Thanks

Mod list? Wheels with more street side offset or wheel spacers will cause greater sensitivity to road imperfections. Also toe set more negative than optimum would have the same effect.

I would assume you have taken the car in to the dealer and had the stock alignment checked..

I would say something is out of wack on your alignment anyway.

If yo took it in.. did they actually recheck the alignment? or just do a test drive and say no problem?
Then the guy DOING the alignment? was he actually 'certified' or just some grease jock putzing?
By any chance dd you (foolishly IMO) take it to someone OTHER than the dealer for an alignment?
Plenty of idiots at tire change shops NONE of which are certified to do an alignment.

Have you asked to check the struts and end links?
From personal experience.. even another car bumping your wheel parking in a mall can bend a tierod!
(one reason to never park the car in a mall with the wheels angled out)

I am so used to the car, I never am bothered.. but I can say the ST does not do any self centering while driving..
If you came from a car with 'relaxed' steering feel (think Buick) it may just be you are not used to a 'sharp'
high performance setup?
