Hi all, I got a blow off valve back in July and drove a month on it and had little to 0 problems. I got a flash tune from stratified recently and it worked well but then started acting strange. RPMs would rise when the clutch was put in, and then when I would put it in neutral it would occasionally rise all the way up until 4-5k RPMs without foot on the gas or the clutch. They would then dip to 1k after a few seconds. I spoke with stratified about this, they said it could be a bug and to reflash the tune first before moving forward, and after doing so the car is performing much better, but things might change. I think that taking off the BOV because it is not hooked up to a true vacuum source would be best, because it sounds like the issue is a boost leak. What do you guys think, and are there any guides online anywhere about installing the OEM stock bypass valve?

This is not a boost leak, if anything this is probably your accelerator pedal sticking. You would hear a boost leak.

The accelerator pedal can stick causing things like this, I've been lucky enough that it hasn't happened to me but i think the fix was either replacing it or greasing it.

Similar thing happened on my 18 a year or so ago... Accelerator pedal was sticking causing the revs to go up constantly. Just take it apart and lube it with white lithium grease. I think @MtnMan had a how-to on it, but that was a while ago..
