Buschur Racing has ventured into a new platform. The 2013 Ford Focus ST. This is footage from the first few days of owning the car. It seems to have alot of potential and we're very excited to get started on it.
I love Buschur they are about 15 mins away from me. I used to have a eclipse with some of there parts in it can I say 378whp!!!! If they are doing the ST I'm excited because they take no short cuts.
Check this example of there work... Not mine of course lol.
Im happy to see dave b throw his hat in the ring. Dave has been around for a long time. I met dave 13 years ago at the dsm shootout. He knows turbo cars and I know the parts he'll produce will be awesome. I miss my ecplise and plan to fill that void with my ST.
I'm going to do some research but I have a question about 1/4 mile times. I want my ST to run mid 12s in the 1/4, currently I have a FSWerks tune, FRPP intake, Steeda Intercooler, and the E-focus mount. What all is needed to get to that point? I know the car is more of a curvy road vehicle...
The mod list is in the description, but the majority of it have nothing to do with making the car faster.
The stuff you need to know -
Spec 3+ Clutch and Flywheel
CPe Big Intercooler
Catless downpipe (at that power level a cat doesn't hurt output at all)
So looking for those that have been doing clutch drops and what were any of the resultant carnage. My past with drag racing was RWD V8s and I had confidence in the driveline components to not be concerned on what was going to blow. I'd like to take some trips back to the drag strip with my ST...
Time for a confession. I've never actually launched or practiced launching my car, but now I'm hoping to change that with a few nights at a drag strip near by. My only thing is that I'm confused as to how to launch the car properly to get a good time. Now before I get flamed, I've done a search...
