Ok guys I think Tuesday I will have the day off and might be able to get my before/after comparison dynos in. Now is there anything you guys want to see besides the two different dyno print outs? Really can't wait to see the difference hate having these plugs just sitting here lol

You won't be able to just swap plugs and call it a gain. You need a set of OE motorcrafts properly gapped and brand new. Once you have the two brand new sets then you will have a proper test. If you are going to show pulls on your used plugs versus new plugs then don't bother posting results.

The test should be done with three(no reason for three but it is accepted as a good sample) as is pulls, then three brand new OE plug pulls, and finally three CFM pulls.

I have in one extreme case seen a plug change make 100hp. This was on an untuned, blown 306 engine and he had been running plugs 2 heat ranges off optimal and the comparison was to burned plugs. I have not however seen any modern vehicle make any repeatable power gain from a plug change that didn't involve a failing component or use of incorrect heat range. I have however seen MG's run like crap on anything but 2 specific brands of copper plugs. I've seen fords run like crap on bosch plugs. I've never seen any plug outperform a motorcraft on a ford. If there is a legit gain here, its heat range. I reserve doubts.

Ok so the results are in I took your guys advice to help see the exact gains on the plugs, so I bought a set of brand new Motorcraft plugs yesterday and this morning brang those along with the brisk plugs to do the pulls.

We changed to the new Motorcraft plugs gapped at .32, then did two pulls and then changed to the Brisk Racing plugs and did two more pulls and here was the outcome of the runs.

Wasn't the results I was hoping for but still gained some power up top as you see in the graph. The car feels strong and I'm impressed with the numbers.

+1.9 hp and - 1.28 LB-Ft of torque from the peak figures means this was a negligible change at best it seems v.s. brand new o.e. plugs correctly gapped. Good to know.
