Hey Guys,

Just got a great deal on a 13 ST3 with 95k on it but a new motor from ford with a warranty so I am assuming I don't need to worry about overdue oil changes and coolant. What other maintenance items should I address with this kind of mileage? The cabin filter was original and disgusting so I changed that and the car had a KN and ford racing tune, KN had never been cleaned, never seen anything like it. Based on that I am assuming that nothing could have been changed, brakes are in decent shape. What other fluids or filters would of needed to be changed at this point that the owner probably didn't?

Sad thing is this guy had a lotus in his garage and a brand new focus RS

I'd change the gearbox oil and flush the brake fluid. I'd also change the spark plugs and gap them to 0.028" - careful that if the car does have the Ford Racing (FRPP) tune, you'll need Denso ITV24 plugs, which are two steps colder than stock.

Hope that helps,
Mark

yea I got the plugs, ford put stock ones back in, going to order the trans oil and check on the brake fluid it doesn't look too bad but might change it anyways since I will be autoxing the car. if anyone has anything else let me know!
