My guess would be for the cost why don't you just spend a bit extra and get a bigger/nicer turbo.
Yup, plus I believe you send your turbo away to them and wait a few weeks once they receive it and get it back for "50 horsepower."

If I'm committing to a bigger turbo I'm getting a more efficient actually bigger turbo and just spending the $2,000 for a brand new turbo.

Agreed with above.... why spend that money when you could spend a little more and get a WAY better setup and tune it any which way you want.

The stock snail is not worth putting a dime into let alone $1000+ plus time to remove it and ship it etc etc

I only see a bonus in this for people afraid to go big turbo for warranty reasons. Dealer wouldn’t know to look inside the turbo.

Myself and a few other put this to bed a couples years ago. Recently there was a claim of a Puma setup making 370 which is impossible. Everyone done so far has made 310 at the most. Another added benefit is the wonderful low boost surge you get because the compressor housing is too small to flow above stock levels. Stay away and save to get a BT.
