Also it's not just the size. There are fins that split the air flow inside the end tanks. These fins push most of the air up front so boost pressure isn't really effected.

HUGE INTERCOOLER mounts to the plastic tabs on the radiator.... just because it mounts like factory doesn't make it right, factory intercooler is third size and weight

Agree it seems to not have problems but doesn't mean I don't like the way it mounts.

It's secure and I have hit some hard bumps with the front wheels. Acctually surprised I didn't break or bend the wheels.

Also have you looked at how the intercooler mounts. Those tabs main keep it from moving side to side and from falling forward. Most of the weight is helped by the bottom metal tabs that bolt to the lower radiator support.

I have installed two of them.... I am talking out of experience, no just from pictures.

Have you seen how Levels mounts? personally it is the only intercooler that mounts solid and not to plastic tabs.

NOT really sure why this is on going, I understand you are standing up for CPE because of your "title" with them but I can openly dislike something and not have to explain myself 10 times.

again I haven't heard of issues. I have installed two, neither of them have complained or had issues. It was just my thought from the first time I installed one that the mounting was not to MY liking. I have offered to both of them better mounting solutions but haven't had the time to fab anything up for them and most likely will never worry about it.

You made it sound like they hang off the plastic pieces. I was just stating they don't. That's all. Also I'm not defending them just because they sponsored my car. I would defend any good product I have used like my Boomba shifter. Best mod I have done in my personal opinion.

I just ordered the Steeda (which is basically a rebranded CP-E) and they had those in stock, CP-E is about a month or two in backorders.
