I was readign about mounts and came upon the Electic focus MM. I went to CJ parts and it said that "This lower engine mount is the factory original part for all 2011-present Ford Focus electric cars and original equipment on the 2015-2016 Focus ST and 2016-2017 Focus RS." So does that mean that the 2017 comes with an upgraded E.F. mount? and if it does is there a big difference between the Ele. Foc. MM and an aftermarket one like Cobb? I dont want to buy a MM only to spend money on essentially a 'non' upgrade.

Sorry i know there are tons of MM threads, but the new 2017s have made for some pretty interesting questions... Some aftermarket suppliers arnt sure if some of the parts will need to be adjusted to fit the 17s.

Yes, it is the E-Focus mount is the Stock ST.
There is plenty of room for improvement. There were no major changes announced for the mechanicals of the car.

Not exactly. It's an improvement from the stock RMM, and good compromise if you don't like NVH. In other words, better than nothin'!

If you want the emount I think I might still have myne if I didn't throw it away. 25$ plus shipping if I got it.

While not perfect, it's a lot better than the original mount, fine of daily driving with just an occasional go. I believe the original was constructed of cotton candy and hope.

When I removed mine the hope had been beaten out of it and I ate the cotton candy...

My E focus was all 1-2 bang, and wheel hopping.

Total garbage, even if it was an upgrade, terrible.

As far as an upgrade goes it's complete crap. I think the duro rating on that is like 60 which can be good for stock power but with any added power you'll get 1-2 bang all day erryday
