Does anyone know if they plan to charge for Android Auto capability, it sounds like hardware is required for Car Play. Will hardware be required for the Android users?

No hardware is required for android auto capability, and therefore no charge is currently expected for the software update to Sync 3 V2.0 if all you want is to use Android Auto, Apple CarPlay requires a new MFI certified usb hub so it will be an extra cost upgrade.

Just thought i would share. Still looks like they expect to have it out by the end of the year.
