I successfully downloaded a file off the focus rs forum, only one that worked. Will this work for my 2013? Or are these updates only for 2016's?

I once contacted Ford for a update on my 2013 M.sync, they informed me a mini flash drive with updates will be mailed out. 3 years later, still waiting for updates.
