The Focus is getting some work done. I wonder what the new face of Focus is going to look like. From the looks of the spy shots, the focus has been squatting as well. That rear end could see some serious updating too!

What do you think of the possibility for new headlamps, front fascia, and rear fascia?

have you ever driven an escape?! HORRIBLE yeah might as well be a car. the old escapes were so much bigger... at least they felt bigger.
To any future purchaser of a ford focus "estate"... I wish you the best of luck because you won't be gettin' any for as long as you're driving that thing lol

The new Escape is precisely the same size if not a little bigger than the old one and with the 2.0 L EcoBoost it really scoots.

I've driven the last Escape hybrid and my late grandfather's 09 Mariner and it drives fine but the new one is much nicer to drive.

I own a 2013 Escape SE AWD (1.6L) with the vista moonroof and navigation, and I've driven the older version. They are both roughly the same size inside, but the new one is a hell of a lot nicer.

The 2013 has a very taught suspension for an SUV. It was far more "sporty" to drive than my 2006 Maxima was. The Escape we own and the EcoBoost Challenge were the main reasons I ended up buying a Focus ST a few weeks ago.

The 2012 Escape felt like a truck in comparison. I know that some people lament the loss of the truck-ness of the Escape, but I think that the new version is a much better vehicle.

I had one as a rental when my edge was getting serviced. It was the EcoBoost and it felt like it literally had to be "scooted" along, fred flinstone style. But hey, I guess that's why I got the ST and not the escape :D

Center console w more buttons looks nice, better than spartan looking st3 center console.
I think that's the base SYNC system in that car. Not the MyFord Touch system you get in the ST3.

The one thing missing in the ST3's Sony radio is a dedicated Play/Pause button. I don't like having to go into entertainment to hit that.

Not a big fan of the 6F35 in the Escape but it ran rings around the Honda CR-V that was brought along for comparison.

It's also much nicer inside. I bought the ST because I preferred it but the new Escape isn't a bad car.

Yeah, we test drove a CRV, too. About the only thing that the CRV's interior had going for it was the center console storage bin that could fit a laptop inside it. The navigation system was horrible. The dealer said, "You'll never have to hit any buttons again, just use the voice". And then we tried it out and it didn't work at all. The engine moved the car when you floored it and revved it out, but the lack of torque was apparent compared to the 1.6L turbo in the Escape.

Anyway, this thread is about the 2015 Focus refresh, right? :)
