So I have a 2013 Focus ST and I just opened up the airbox! I don't think the air filter has ever been replaced.....So I think it's time for a new one!

Which one should I order?

Green Filter https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0...b-376b-4be5-b407-d721444e78f1&pf_rd_i=desktop

COBB Filter https://www.amazon.ca/Cobb-Tuning-7...65164&sr=1-2-catcorr&keywords=cobb+air+filter

K&N Filter https://www.amazon.ca/E-2993-High-P...coding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=2YPBFSXX64TZCEEPF3CH
The Cobb filter IS a green filter. It's just not green. Do you want to oil it every 20-40k miles? If yes, than either of those 2 work great. If no then look at the AEM DryFlow.

Like this one AEM DryFlow Air Filter

@ddfred approves (I'm pretty sure you're the one with this filter..)

Edit: Oh, and another reason why I high beam anyone who I'm following behind who I see throw a damn cigarette butt out the window. Buy a f_______ ashtray and stop littering, hitting motorcyclists (could/has caused accidents), hitting other cars, killing animals, getting stuck in peoples airboxes, etc.

Green filter all the way !!! it has an open end not like the others with closed end. Allows for better air intake and sounds pretty cool when you floor it :)

Those have to be oiled though don't they? I'd prefer maintenance free if possible!

Yes, Green filter has to be cleaned with filter cleaner and then oiled... they are a pain to clean because of the open ended cone.

AEM isn't maintenance free, pretty close... but NOTHING IS! the simplest is a paper filter but it's not very cost effective for the life of the car.

Not true, I hear mine over my MBRP TBE actually. Cobb filter
must have better hearing than me, I only have Greddy catback which isn't even as loud and I never heard my Green filter, stock box and lid on and Depo racing intake tube, I switched because I didn't want to have to oil it ever again and didn't see the point of having an oiled filter with a Dry-flow AEM option on the market.

Take the lid off, you'll probably notice it then. It's off on mine with stock everything and it certainly made the turbo louder. A little more heat soak I'm sure, but again, bone stock

Under WOT I'll admit it's difficult to hear, but under 15psi of boost I hear the distinct whoooooshhhh directly in front of me and it's sexy when paired with my catless turbo whistle and grumble of the MBRP. My car is a sex sound machine basically.
