before purchasing my Exhaust, I watched some install videos. Seems easy, but one this caught my eye on all of them, The tips are not lined up. Does anyone know why? The tips can slide in and out, so why wouldn't marketing make them line up even on the install? Next weekend I'll be installing my MBRP Exhaust, and the tips will be lined up.

its all about the angles... with how these exhausts bolt up, you have lots of places where pieces are joined and hung that can effect how the tips look. You should be able to get it pretty close but be prepared to do lots of fine tuning to get the tips where you want them. If you have stock rubber mounts still, it could make it trickier to get the tips to stay exactly where you want them after driving. I suggest only lightly tightening the different clamps until you get to the rear and see where your tips are and then tighten everything after adjusting their final position, just be prepared to do it a couple times if things move after driving :)

Yea I have the thermal research N development exhaust and which in a way I guess makes things somewhat easier coz I only have to align one tip evenly cause they make theirs to fit the factory valance of the bumper. But even still I had to adjust mine and I had to move further up and adjust the pipe coming over the rear suspension then adjust the tailpipe fitting on that.

It's the evenness of the tips(how far they stick out) during final install in the videos, as they look like they are staggered, and I know on mine these can slide in and out. I also now it takes some time to make the exhaust look good at thee tips, with all of the slip-on connections involved.

I beleive it's the angle of the photo causing it to look staggered. From an angled picture my exhuast tips look staggered but they are definitely even.

In the FiST in the second video, looks like they intentionally followed the contour of the bumper (since the exhaust tips are not in the center like in our FoSTs).
But for the FoSTs, I agree it looks like the perspective of the shot makes it look like they're staggered.
