I recently got my EFI University certification and I was able to download my AccessTuner software, is this software married to my Accessport or to my Car? I plan to buy a Focus RS soon and I would like to use this accessport and accesstuner on it after I unmarried it from my focus st, but I was wondering if I need something else?

Thanks

The AP3 won't work on your RS. You would need to purchase the specific one for it.

They're right,
The ST Accessport will not work in it's raw state to the RS
Cobb can Reflash it or you just have to get the RS one.

As for your license, I don't know, last time I had accesstuner for my ST they didn't make you take the class then they took it away :(

What everyone else mentioned here is correct. If you uninstall your AP from the ST and send it to us, we are able to make it an AP3-FOR-004 which will be compatible with a Focus RS. The total cost for this would be $300 ($150 to change the part number + the $150 difference in price between the two Accessports).

As for Accesstuner, each instance of software is connected to a specific Accessport. Since your Accessport part number will change you'll need a new instance of the software. Just let us know about that need when you send in your AP to get converted to the FOR-004 part number and we can help.
