hey everyone,
I recently replaced an A/C hose near the radiator. green liquid everywhere, so I assume this is the dye of the freon.
evacuated the low and high system. task complete. but now, the low side will not intake any freon from my can. I verified that freon makes it to the low side fitting. I see pressure build on my gauge. but freon stays in the can. its like the system won't take the freon.
any ideas? and sorry for the lack of info. thought id with this.
thanks in advance!

Oh, you may have to trick it initially because the low pressure switch is too low for compressor to run.

Did you try letting any refrigerant in without car running?
Been awhile since I did it, but when completely discharged you can usually let it in initially through high side too, WITH CAR OFF.

I overhauled the AC system on my ‘07 Focus a month ago. I couldn’t get the car to accept the second can of R134a I tried putting in.

It ended up being the puncture tap I was using on the Freon can was a bit faulty.
