Yesterday I had weird moment when I was on the freeway having fun. As I was in 5th gear and doing about 85 and climbing I went into 6th to hit cruising speed when it felt like 6th was very mushy for a brief second, so I backed off throttle and it smelled like burning clutch while in gear.... I waited for smell to clear and tried to repeat the moment and couldn't.


Only 3200k miles on the car.... it just felt weird!!!!

I've had this happen, only once though in 26k miles. For a day I thought it was the car, then realized it was probably a slightly sub-par shifting pattern with the feet.

I think I would agree. Only thing that makes clear sense. Driver error in the moment
