went to the muffler shop - tech didn't really want to cut the Cobb CBE to put in a J-pipe
I don't blame him...

To reduce drone - I had them cut the Cobb front muffler and they suggested a 6" round x 18" Magnaflow since there's more packing, same size as the Cobb - still drones like the Cobb part though

so I may go with a Magnaflow 6" round x 30" long muffler (12" more muffler)

MUFFLER LENGTH: 30 IN
OVERALL LENGTH: 36 IN
IN/OUT DIA: 3/3 IN
FINISH: SATIN

I do worry that there's about 33" of space to mount the muffler - would be pretty darn tight...

I bought the Borla cbe specifically because there is no drone. I can't stand that ****.

ive learned to beat the drone on the highway. stay out of 6th! you'll start to love your 3" exhaust again!

That's a good muffler. It should easily cut out the drone, and give a really deep grumble. I have always been a fan of the long straight through mufflers, verses the short chambered style. Of course this is just my personal opinion. If I had a droning problem, thats what I would do.
