I believe that size says it is an H8. The ST uses an H11 bulb for the fogs correct? I could be wrong. I have a 15 ST1 that I am putting new fogs in and I ordered H11.
Let me know how they fit, I thought my 16 used H8? I could be wrong, and I can't imagine there would be different sizes between 15 & 16.

The 2015-17 STs use H8 bulbs. The 2013-14 use H11. The difference is that the H8 are lower power and dimmer. Real H8 bulbs also have skinnier locating tabs than the H11s. Other than that, they are pretty much the same.

That said, a lot of the manufacturers of cheap LED H11/H8 bulbs are making them to fit both applications, as using the H8 tab size on the bulbs allow them to fit either housing.

How do they look? Do you by chance have the specs on them?
Diode Dynamics XML2 - they're amazing! they're a bit long though, my garage had to carve out a piece of the computer case to make them fit...

Uh-oh...did I order the wronf bulbs? Everywhere I looked said the H11 was the fog light to use for a 2015 ST1.

If you ordered H11s you did order the wrong bulb. If you ordered a halogen bulb it'll be a 55 watt bulb instead of a 35 watt bulb. This will cause extra heat, and could possibly be an issue long-term. Also, you'll have to grind the tabs down to the smaller size to install. If you purchased an HID or LED bulb, it won't matter power wise, but again, you might need to grind the tabs down so they'll fit. Concerning connectors, the H8 and H11 use the same ones, so that's no big deal.

For reference, I like to use the Osram Sylvania site to check bulb sizes: https://www.osram-americas.com/en-us/applications/automotive-lighting-systems/Pages/lrgmain.aspx

Why would they cut into the housing? Is that not going to cause water intrusion?

BTW, the usual method of making room for the bulb is to unscrew one of the 2 screws holding the box in place and rotate it out of the way.

Well, you will have to cut the tabs to make them fit. Also, like I said, those are 55 watt bulbs. They will run hotter. They could melt the housing or wires, or they might be fine. I haven't seen any mention of anyone running those in our housings to know if its an issue or not. It's a common upgrade I've seen on other cars though, so there is some precedent. If you decide to go ahead with this you'll have to let us know how it works out.

Nah I will return them. I will get the H8 size, but now I don't know what to get. I don't wan't LED's because they don't throw light as far and I don't want to pay a premium for DD bulbs.

That's why mine are still stock. No good options unless you feel like using your fog lights as a tool to blind everyone else on the road. If you don't care, then go with the diode dynamics, since they seem to be the most powerful LEDs. Just like every other LED though, the light scatter is atrocious.

I am looking for a good halogen upgrade. Not sure I want to go with yellow. I would prefer something with more of a white light.

If you find anything let me know! I believe my brother just received some yellow halogens for his RS which were H8. I don't know how it fits or looks yet.
