So I just got my levels IC installed it last night. I Have not seen temps drop below 15 degrees above ambient. Is this normal for '16's? Some one on FB said the 15+ models still run hot. I was under the impression that a levels IC would do +5 ambient. Did I somehow do something wrong?

Someone else has a post like this somewhere recently. You have the ap3, right? I remember something about the car itself is reading the c.a.t.'s higher than they actually are. Don't quote me. Try a google search and include "focusst.org" maybe?

Are you running an OTS map? If so it will show 15+ degree temps, if you get a custom tune they will fix that. I have a 15 and a custom tune through Stratified and it shows actual temp. It's just a stupid bug on the 15/16 ST's

So it's a bug in the software? I'm getting a Levels IC, but not immediately planning to Tune. I really just wanted to get rid of the heat soak down here that we get on a nice SoFla summer day that zaps the car of all it's power.

From what I understand, even without a custom Tune, I should be getting more consistent pulls. Right? (really noobish regarding mods here, and I hope the FMIC hasn't opened up pandora's box too much, I'm not sure my wallet would handle a full blown mod bug...)

Yeah it will be better, I ran stock everything with only the Levels FMIC and it seemed great. honestly cant say what the before and after charge temps were but I would assume they were lower after because I never see high temps now that I have a tune and can monitor. I have never experienced heat soak with the Levels, and I have driven it hard in 100+ outside temps
