Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the 2015 models? I'm trying to add heated seats, and want to tie into any factory wires/fuses if possible and not have to run a new power wire if I don't have to.

Other threads on the topic show pre 2014 models, that apparently use a different plug and wiring.

I don't have access to the Wiring Diagram's anymore, you may be able to go to the dealer and have them print them out for you.

I have a couple of questions about what you are trying to do.

Are you adding seats that are capable of being heated or adding a heating element to your current seats?

How are you going to control them with a switch or are they going to be on all the time?

Are you incorporating a thermister to shut voltage off to the element if the seat gets too hot?

Never heard of this being done, so I am curious.

Also, if you are just looking for constant voltage, you can use a DVOM or test light. You can use either to find a ground as well.

I'm installing an aftermarket heating kit that comes with all the elements, wiring, relay's, and switches. The element pads have the thermal breakers within them.
All I need to do is give it a single 12V+/-.

I've done these before on other cars, so I'm pretty familiar with installing these along with things like leather seat covers from katzkinz and leatherseats.com.
Aftermarket heating kits can be found on amazon or ebay for about $40-200. One should NOT have to spend more than $80 ever for two seats. Most of them are all made by the same chinese places, just under different names/branding.

That said, I figured it out; that my body harness on the passenger side had two heavier gauge wires that were not on the seat harness. They went live with the car ignition on. Bam, power! brown was (+) and there was a black/purple ground.

Driver side was similar, though three wires on the body harness and none on the seat side. same purple/black wire for ground. And I think it was a white/orange wire for (+) Basically the (+) wire was in the same harness port/slot as the passenger side.

I now have heated seats in my 2015 ST2. I used this thread for reference, http://www.focusst.org/forum/focus-st-electronics/1007-seats-add-heat.html but it doesn't cover newer models wiring specifically...

Since the center console had to come out to install the switches, I also installed the euro cup holder too while I was at it.

Any updates or fixes? I’m going through the EXACT same scenario in my 2017 ST2... I have the new climate control bezel installed with the heated seat buttons, installed the pads in my passenger seat first, tapped into the negative brown/purple and pin 13 which was white/green as it came on with the button pressed and lost power when I pulled the passenger seater heater fuse.

Problem is, the elements don’t get as hot as they should and the LED’s on the heater switch(along with power to the elements) turn off at 4:00 minutes. Maybe I’m wired wrong?? Need to see what you’ve done!
