Porter cable // CG polishes // CG jetseal + 50/50 wax

I'm finding this paint is a little on the harder side vs what I'm used to, so in direct sun theres still some slight marring but not too bad. The car is my grocery getter though and not garaged so I'm not aiming for perfection.

Does anyone else feel like PB loses its depth in the sun? Love this color at night and overcast though.

Looks awesome! How do you like the jetseal? I've been using BFWD on mine and am really happy with it but have had my eye on jetseal for a while.

And while mine is KB, I've noticed the paint is a lot harder than other vehicles I've owned in that it's rather resistant to swirls.

It's ok, although honestly I really don't have many other sealants to compare it to. I think I have a bottle of wolfgang sealant somewhere laying around. The jetseal removes with medium effort and water beads for some time. My only real gripe with it is application, it doesn't seem to spread very easy. So while the bottle says 'less is more', I find I use far more than the bottle would imply to get coverage. I guess it could be pads too, but to me it seems to be a signature issue of jetseal.

looks good, but you need to pick up some sort of "dressing" spray, and make the blacks.... blaaaccckkkkk
I'm mostly all about my paint these days. I prefer trim to have a natural look. I rarely even dress my tires, but I will now and then. I have been meaning to try some of that 303 aerospace protectant, that might give a 'dressed look'. I remember applying that stuff to my Mustang trim all the time, but sure as the sun rises.. when it rains that stuff is gone.

I guess. to each their own. I just find when i leave trims and tires "natural" they look dry? If that's the right word... and worn out

yeah i grew out of the greasy wet look on tires, plus generally it slings on your paint, even the gels. Haven't found a 'non shiny' tire shine yet but haven't looked either. I wipe off as much excess as possible after doing a tire shine, I like meguire's purple gel when I liked that wet look, if you didn't put too much on, it didn't sling bad.
