Hey I'm wondering if its super necessary to get the crank shaft seal replaced. I have a little tiny oil leak there which is making the right side of the engine bay a little oily. Should I get this fixed? Can super bad things happen if I don't? Thanks in advance!

Well, it's not going to get better by itself - this will only get worse with the passage of time. It could eventually contaminate your drive belts and make a mess there too. How many miles on the motor ??

@StanE It only has 49700km (30882 miles) on the car.
UGH!! Frustrating!! Sorry man!! Is this your daily driver? Do you have a second car you could use while replacing the seal? Although I'm unsure about the Mk 3's, I know the Mk 1.5 Focus' call for a special tool to replace that seal.
