I recently saw a video on YouTube from a master Ford tech that on ecoboost engines 2017 to 2019 are having issues leaking coolant into cylinders 2 and 3 around 50k to 100k miles causing an engine replacement. He shows what vehicles are effected but did not mention anything about the focuses. As mine is at 26k miles I noticed mine is a little low (almost a the low mark in reservoir tank) and I'm a little concerned since I don't have extended warranty or the money to replace the engine.

Single scroll and twinscroll refer to one or two volutes in the exhaust housing of the turbo. Twin scroll funnel opposite cylinders into each of the scrolls.

You're thinking twin-screw, for the supercharger example.

The 2017 and up 2.0 EB escape motors are twin scroll. I've got 81k on mine and thus far it's still good to go (knock on wood).

Which are? I check every oil change and the last one I did a couple weeks ago I haven't seen and leaks. That's why I was concerned about the leaking into the cylinders from not enough cylinder wall gap between cylinders due to an open deck cooling system they switched to in 2017. The 2020s changed it to a cross drilled cooling system between cylinders to give more cylinders wall surface for better head gasket seal.
