No, this is a recall to reprogram the body control module to help prevent the hatch from accidentally opening.

it's the rear hatch door might open under 4mph right? got a recall letter just now.

should one get it fixed right away? or it's not that bad and can wait

Ford has announced that the software update is now available for all models, 2013 and up.
